About Quaneisha

Welcome! I’m Quaneisha Browning, a Louisiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Anchored Hope Counseling and Consulting. I have extensive experience in behavioral health and am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and hope. I earned my Master of Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and my Master of Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

In addition to providing counseling services, I enjoy teaching and speaking on topics related to mental health, trauma, and social work. I have taught at universities throughout the New Orleans area, presented at NASW-Louisiana conferences and events, and trained residents at Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola) in layperson grief counseling. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to equipping others with practical tools to support healing within their communities.

Outside of my professional life, I value spending time with my family and friends. As the wife of an Army veteran and the mother of two, I understand the importance of resilience, connection, and finding balance amid life’s many responsibilities. Those experiences continue to shape the empathy, authenticity, and hope I strive to bring into every counseling relationship.
